Auditions for The Game's Afoot / Holmes for the Holidays
The Belfry Theatre in Noblesville announces auditions for the mysterious whodunit "The Game's Afoot / Holmes for the Holidays," by Ken Ludwig, directed by Eric Matters.
Time and Date:
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, and Tuesday, Sept. 1. Actors only need to attend ONE night of auditions. If needed, callback auditions will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Location:
The Belfry Theatre, 10690 Greenfield Ave., Noblesville
What to Expect:
Actors are required to wear a mask at all times, except when you are speaking on stage during your audition. If you do not have a mask, you may purchase one for $1 at the theater. There will be spaces marked on the stage to indicate where you need to stand in order to maintain safe social distancing. Please maintain 6 feet of social distance at all times. Hand sanitizer will also be available for use.
You will be asked to read from the script. All actors will be contacted regarding casting decisions.
What to Bring:
Complete the audition form prior to the audition or arrive early to complete it. Please bring a headshot if you have one and attach it to your audition form. If you do not have one, your photo will be taken at auditions. Also, please bring a list of all conflicts between Sept. 6 and Dec. 13. Any expected absences for rehearsals should be noted on the audition form. No absences are allowed during the run of the show.

Synopsis:
Hailed as " Murderously Funny" by Broadway World, this quirky, clever mystery centers on 1930's Broadway star William Gillette, admired around the world for his leading role as Sherlock Holmes. Gillette invites fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of holiday festivities, but when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the fun in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turns dangerous. Gillette must assume the persona of his beloved Holmes in order to track down the killer. Join us for the non-stop twists, turns, and wild hilarity in this mystery thriller that promises to give you a wonderful holiday gift: everything you love about live theatre.
